Although Sophie really likes Clive, she is having difficulty working on a school project with him, as he's so shy and unsure of himself. So Sophie wishes that he were a bit more confident, outgoing and, well, 'different'. And so, once Adil has granted the wish, Clive turns into the cool and confident 'Slick'.
