School bores Emma silly!! Tests, homework, the long hours? Dull, dull DULL!! If she could go to school at a time that suited her, doing the lessons she liked, with the teachers she chose, she knows she'd have the top marks. As it is, she manages to get by without too much difficulty but without too much brilliance either...
She loves reading, though! But much prefering a good story over boring facts and figures in text-books.
Her days off, her weekends and holidays are organised around going to see a film with her friends, spending hours lying on the grass watching the clouds, dancing or moving the furniture around in her room...
Emma loves her friends and her favourite topic of conversation is... wait for it!! Boys! She's a heartbreaker and makes a real impression at school.
She gets on well with Adil, she loves to hear his stories of Louis XV and she doesn't care if he's making it up or not. He makes her dream and that's more important than anything else.
If she wasn't frightened of her father's punishments, she would be making wishes all day! It doesn't matter to her that, with Adil, there's always a risk of something going wrong. That's actually some of the fun of it: not knowing what's going to happen next!
She forgets loads of things, never puts anything away and has a great deal of difficulty in finishing what she's started. But for her that's not a fault, existence is not an exact science, after all!
Emma lives for the three 'F's: fashion, friends and er... parties! Her dream is to work in a with a top designer and one day have her name on the label of the clothes everyone who is anyone has to have!
That would be... AWESOME!
