Here the cave set was placed in front of an entirely green background, the camera 'locked off' so it doesn't move at all during the take, and the prehistoric world attaches itself to every little bit of green it sees on the film and... hey presto! Cavedad's cave is suddenly transported from Elstree Studio 7 to the Norton house a million years ago!
