After devoting herself to Philip Norton's well-being throughout the entire first season of Genie in the House ( even washing his socks on occasion! ), next door neighbour and primary school teacher, Caroline Smart, finally gave up trying to convince Philip he couldn't live without her, and found true love with her school's head chef. They married and moved to France - the food is better there apparently!
